Meet The Orthodontist
Judith A. Okun, DMD
Dr. Judith A. Okun was born and raised in the town of Rye. She graduated from the Blind Brook School System and received her Bachelors degree from Brandeis University, her dental degree (D.M.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania, her certificate [of training] in orthodontics from Columbia University, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists (Board Certified). She did her General Practice Residency at the Dental Care Center of the University of Pennsylvania and her externship training at Graduate Hospital and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Okun is the past International Undergraduate Representative of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity. She has lectured to numerous dental study groups and she founded the Hutchinson Study Group. In 1991, she and Dr. Stanley I. Okun won the Joseph E. Johnson Table Clinic Award for their work on dentofacial orthopedics. Dr. Okun has had over twenty years of experience working in orthodontics. Dr. Judith Okun's practice is located in Rye Brook, serving Port Chester, Rye Brook, and White Plains in Westchester County, New York and Greenwich, Connecticut.
Dr. Okun continually updates her knowledge by attending numerous lectures and courses. She is also an active member of the following dental organizations and serves on several committies in the Ninth District Dental Society:
